Efia Odo has stated in a Twitter post that, although she believes in
God, she does not believe His book, same way as she finds it hard to
fathom some of the stories in the Bible.
She had made a Tweet asking how Cain was able to marry after he ran away when the Bible has said that, Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel were the only people in the world at the time.
A follower asked her if she was suggesting that the Bible is just a mere storybook and she replied in the affirmative.
Her first reply read; “Yes, with some faith building scriptures and relatable moments.
Then the follower asked again, ‘Very well, so you don’t believe in God?’
Efia Od then comes in and replies, “Believing in God is not the same as believing in the bible. I believe in God.”
